ABOUT
Rose Magee (b. 1990, UK), is a Tallinn-based interdisciplinary artist exploring a culture - nature - dualism through the mediums of sustainable sculpture and installation. In 2019 she graduated with a degree in Restoration and Conservation from The University of Applied Sciences Berlin and since 2022 she is studying Contemporary Art MA at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
Rose is the lead organiser of the student-run gallery, Vent Space. A member of the artist collective Diagonale and on the board of Moving Poets Berlin, a center of arts and culture helping create outreach programs that promote cultural exchange and tolerance in Germany and the US. Her works have been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions in Germany and beyond.
Before returning to studies she was working for the 12th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art as an assistant registrar, whilst maintaining an active art practice utilising multidisciplinary mediums to investigate identity politics in a time of climate change.
